Heidi was born and raised in the Ozarks, Missouri. She is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She has taught elementary school for over 25 years. After teaching for eight years, she retired to pursue her passion for writing
Her first book, A Century of Sunshine, was released by The History Press in 2017. Her second book is scheduled to be released in 2018.
